About Dr. Michael Tebbe DC
Helping you find ease in the seasons that matter most.
Most pregnant women are told some version of the same thing: "Of course you’re uncomfortable, you’re pregnant." But I believe you shouldn't have to just accept every ache and pain as a "normal" part of the process.
I’m Dr. Michael Tebbe, a specialized pregnancy and pediatric chiropractor here in Los Angeles. With 20 years of clinical experience, my passion is supporting families during pregnancy, postpartum, and infancy—seasons where the body is adapting at its fastest and where gentle, principled support matters most.

Why I Do What I Do
My journey into specialized care began in 2011 with a patient named Austin. At just 4 months old, he was constantly crying, struggling with constipation, and clearly uncomfortable. After a short series of restorative adjustments, his body began to function the way it was designed to; he finally slept, and his parents felt like they could finally breathe again.
Seeing that transformation sparked over a decade of research. I am Webster Technique certified, a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment used to balance a mother's pelvis and reduce stress on her uterus and supporting ligaments. I have since invested over 500 hours into the science of how spinal tension impacts the nervous system, developing the gentle, specific techniques I use today for my most delicate patients. This mission became even more personal when I became a father and saw firsthand the importance of checking my own daughter’s nervous system right after she was born.

THE TRANSFORMATION
What’s Important to Me (and You)
A Collaborative Safe Space:
Care here is unhurried and specific. I move at a pace your nervous system can tolerate, explaining what I’m doing as I go.
Gentleness Over Force:
Many people are nervous because of "cracking" videos they see online. My approach is the opposite; it's very gentle, often incorporating red light therapy and subtle movements that help the body "melt" into alignment.
True Support:
Whether it’s responding personally to your texts or coming to your home for a postpartum visit when you can barely walk, I am committed to meeting you exactly where you are.

Physically, what I remember is that I said, 'I can breathe better.' I didn't realize how restricted I was until that adjustment. That was probably the absolute best feeling.

What Makes This Different: The Restorative Path
My approach isn't about chasing symptoms or pushing your body. It’s about creating space, literally. Patients often notice that after an initial reset, their belly feels "lighter" and they can take deeper breaths because their ribs are finally able to expand.
However, a single adjustment is only the beginning. To create lasting change, we follow a Restorative Care Plan. Because your body has learned to compensate for tension over time, we use a consistent series of visits to retrain your nervous system and lock in your new mobility. Think of it as a momentum game: each session builds upon the last to move you from temporary relief to a state of permanent ease.
